Suck the Spaghetti Contest

We were at an italian restaurant the other day when my kids decided to have a “spaghetti sucking up contest.” My first reaction, as only a mom could react, was that someone was going to choke. I quickly got over that and let them go for it. It was a close contest between three of my kids as the spaghetti slapped the sides of their faces and it was gone in seconds. The other, he seemed to have a little more difficulty with this particular task. I think Lady and the Tramp could have beaten him! www.mommywarriors.com

Giant Slip N Slide is Awesome!

Just an fyi…. If you are looking to rent a fun inflatable for an upcoming party, you HAVE to get a giant slip n slide. Kids of all ages, adults too, will have a ball sliding across this thing. We had party for 70 kids to celebrate the end of school and with a pool, dunk tank, trampolene and the giant slip n slide, and hands down, the slip and slide was the bomb! Happy 4th of July to all our MommyWarriors viewers. In sticking with the hot dogs and apple pie theme, every year we watch the famous Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest at Coney Island. Congrats to Joey Chestnut once again who was victorious and almost beating the record, matching it at 68 hot dogs! In our house, the hot dog eating contest is all about who can finish and swallow one hot dog first. This year, my oldest son was too cool to compete in the contest so it was amongst the other three. Yet Another Backyard Adventure

After the rattlesnake bite last week, I knew I had to try and put up some kind of barrier on our fence in an attempt to keep critters out. I spent the last two days putting up a metal 1/4″ mesh fence around the perimeter of our backyard. My arms are all scratched up from reaching over the top of the mesh to zip tie it to the existing metal fence.
