Jon BonJovi’s New Back-Up Singers!

I’m a bit confused.  I thought that my husband had two loves in his life, Notre Dame and me.  The other night Charlie Weis, Notre Dame football coach, hosted a St. Patrick’s Day Gala at Manhattan ’s Waldorf-Astoria. The event was fundraiser for Hannah & Friends, a charity established to honor his daughter.  One of the highlights of the night was a performance by one of Charlie’s friends Jon BonJovi, who, as many of you know, is one of my all time favorites.  In return for a wonderful pledge to Hannah & Friends, Jon BonJovi asked Charlie and Bill Belichick, New England Patriots coach, to sing along with him to Wanted Dead or Alive.  Ok so the singing, they may need some practice but, they tried!  Given that my husband knew about this event, why wouldn’t he have thought about getting me a ticket or two to attend as well?

 

Ok, so my husband is a Notre Dame Alumni, played football there for four years, and is a member of the Monogram Club.  Now, I ask you MommyWarriors readers, shouldn’t he have purchased tickets for my friend Liz and I to attend such an event?  Sure, Liz is obsessed with Jon BonJovi too but, I think maybe we would have been able to control ourselves and not make a scene.  What in the world was he thinking!  Once again, us Moms are left out in the cold to drool and fantasize about what could have been!
