My 5th grader and his buddies are obsessed with a guy on YouTube named Nigahiga. For months he’s been telling me about some of the videos, repeating each memorized line. None of it was funny sounding. If anything, I was beginning to get very annoyed. “Mom, in this new Nigahiga video he goes. (hee hee hee).. And then he goes. (hee hee hee)…And then he goes..(heh heh heh)..And then he….” Enough! I told my son if he repeated one more line from one of those stupid nagahide video I was going to lock him in his room. Then he told me I had to watch one to understand why they were so funny. I reluctantly agreed. . .
And I was right. The videos are really stupid, but not only did I laugh, I started reciting the lines to my husband. How pathetic is that!
