We seem to have a problem with cell phones in our house, that is, trying to keep them operational. I myself am on my 6th phone of the year.
Phone #1 – Destroyed after being thrown in the bag with the spray sunscreen and I forgot to lock the spray nozzle.
Phone #2 – Worked for 2 weeks and then decided to stop working completely (not my fault)
Phone #3 – Melted after I left it next to the bbq as I grilled dinner
Phone #4 – Forgot to put it’s life preserver on when it jumped into the lake
Phone #5 – The on/off button decided to jam after I threw it into the bottom of my purse
Phone #6 – so far, so good (knock on wood)
Now all this time, my husband has made the snide little comments to me about taking care of my phone as he has never had to replace his….that was until today.
As he and my son left the house tonight, he mumbled not to call him on his cell phone. When I inquired as to why, he turned to me and said, “because I dropped it in the toilet!”
When I questioned him as to why he had it in there in the first place, his only response was, “at least it happened after I flushed!
My advice….cell phone insurance is a good thing!
