I woke up this morning to my pool turning on at about 3 am. If the weather gets near freezing our pool will automatically turn on and circulate the water so the pipes don’t freeze. A great feature for the pool but having the waterfalls turn on that early in the morning was tough. The kids came down in their robes and slippers wondering if it had snowed. The temperature was below freezing but unfortunately the rain had come yesterday.
They bundled up for school in their long pants and heavy coats and were anxious to go outside and see their breath. They were excited to find some ice on the sidewalk from where the sprinklers had turned on. The grass was all crunchy and they could see snow on the mountain tops off in the distance. As soon as one of them said snow, they insisted I put Harley’s coat on her for her walk.
Now, picture me walking this crazy beagle around our Southern California neighborhood and imagine all the chuckles I got as neighbors drove by!

I know Harley is a girl, but that’s just pathetic! The poor chick at least needs a cool biker-girl outfit. After all, she is named “Harley!”
Harley looks like she belongs in NW Jersey – we had at least 6 inches of snow last night before it turned to freezing downpours this morning.
