I just spent three days at Craig Duswalt’s RockStar System For Success Seminar here in LA and quite a rockin event it was. Rockin with the Kids!

One of the activities my family really enjoys these days is playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I like it for many reasons, one, we have fun as a family; two, my kids are learning a sense of ryhthm (something my husband lacks); and three, the kids are getting into music other than Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. We have some great jam sessions in the living room that sometimes last for hours. We had a very surreal experience tonight. We had Slash, from Guns ‘n Roses / Velvet Revolver, and his wife and kids over for dinner. You see their kids go to preschool with our twins, and at the annual fundraiser where we offered up our Oregon house for auction to help raise money, the winning bid came from Slash and Perla.
