I love my kids teachers but I have to admit, they really pissed me off today.  For weeks my youngest set of twins have been researching and a writing a biography report on someone they consider a hero that will ultimately lead them to standing up in front of their class for at least 2 minutes reciting it.  They’ve been reading books and ‘googling’ their hero left and right.  The rough drafts were written, the reports revised and the memorization was begun.  They also had to come up with an outfit to wear to make themselves look like their heros. ...

Junior High Holiday Etiquette??? 2

Ok, in elementary school I always had my kids bring in a holiday gift for their teachers, it was just a nice thing to do.  Now that they are in junior high and have a boatlload of different teachers, what do you do for the holidays?  Do you send in a gift for all of them?  Do you not give them anything at all?  Is a card sufficient?   I even thought of baking cookies and giving them all a box of cookies but would they be appreciative?
